Our approach

Cash Cart is built on the principle that your data is yours. We collect only what’s needed to run the platform — nothing more. We don’t use analytics trackers, ad networks, or third-party monitoring tools.

What we collect

When you use Cash Cart, we store: your name and email address, your storefront settings (username, bio, theme preferences), the products you create (name, description, price, files), and transaction records. We do not store payment details — all payment processing is handled by Stripe.

How we use it

We use your data solely to operate Cash Cart: to run your storefront, process transactions, and send you notifications relevant to your account (like sale confirmations). We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing or any other purpose.

Third parties

The only third party we share data with is Stripe, who handles payment processing. Stripe receives the information necessary to complete a transaction. We do not use ad networks, analytics platforms, or any other third-party data services.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we keep transaction records for a reasonable period as required for legal and financial compliance. All other personal data is deleted.

Your rights

Under Australian Privacy Law, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@cashcart.com.au and we’ll respond promptly.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll notify you by email before they take effect.
