What is Cash Cart?
Cash Cart is a platform that lets creators sell digital products directly to their customers. We provide the storefront, checkout, and delivery infrastructure. We are not a party to the sale itself — that’s between you (the creator) and your buyer.
For creators
By creating an account you agree to: only sell products you own the rights to, take responsibility for the accuracy of your product descriptions and pricing, handle any disputes or refund requests with your buyers directly, and comply with Australian law.
For buyers
When you purchase a product, you’re buying from the creator — not from Cash Cart. All product questions, issues, and refund requests should go to the creator directly.
Our fees
Cash Cart charges a 6% + $0.30 AUD fee on each transaction. This fee is non-refundable. Creators are not charged anything upfront — we only make money when a sale is made.
Refunds
Refund decisions are at the discretion of the creator. Cash Cart cannot issue refunds on transaction fees.
Prohibited content
You may not upload, sell, or distribute any of the following through Cashcart:
- –Content that is illegal under Australian law or the laws of the jurisdiction where you operate
- –Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexually exploits minors
- –Malware, viruses, spyware, ransomware, or any file designed to damage, exploit, or gain unauthorised access to a device or system
- –Content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of any third party, including pirated software, ebooks, music, or other copyrighted works
- –Phishing materials or files designed to deceive buyers into disclosing personal or financial information
- –Stolen data, credentials, or personal information belonging to others
- –Content that facilitates fraud, money laundering, or other financial crimes
- –Hate speech, content that incites violence, or material that discriminates on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability
We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that we determine, at our sole discretion, violates these prohibitions. Violations may also be reported to relevant law enforcement authorities.
Copyright and takedown requests
Cashcart respects intellectual property rights. If you believe that content on our platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown request to hello@cashcart.com.au. Your request must include:
- –Your full name and contact details
- –A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- –A description of the infringing content and its location on our platform (for example, the store URL or product link)
- –A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- –A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf
We will review all valid takedown requests and take appropriate action, which may include removing the content and suspending the seller’s account. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.
If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address with your contact details, a description of the removed content, and a statement that you have a good faith belief the content was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
Reporting harmful content
If you encounter content on Cashcart that you believe violates these terms, including malware, illegal content, or material that exploits minors, please report it immediately to hello@cashcart.com.au. Include the store or product URL and a description of your concern. We treat all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. Accounts found distributing illegal content, malware, or infringing material will be terminated immediately and may be reported to relevant authorities.
Liability
Cash Cart is provided as-is. We are not liable for losses arising from use of the platform beyond what is required under Australian Consumer Law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
